2011 Leadership Installed, Pinnacle Award Presented

Earlier last month, the Hawaii CRB and the Aloha CRS Chapters came together to install their 2011 slate of officers.  The event was themed “Christmas Ho’olaulea” and guests included many Past Presidents from each group.  

In addition to the evening's program, the event was an opportunity to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, with attendees bringing numerous gifts for this important program that is honored each year at the installation banquet.

2011 Hawaii CRB Chapter President Francine Villarmia-Kahawai R, CRB, CRS, GRI of Properties International, Ltd. took the oath of office along with her fellow 2011 officers Immediate Past President John A. Harris R, CRB, President-Elect Chuck Garrett R, CRB, GRI, Treasurer Colleen Chun R, CRB, CRS, GRI and Secretary Lurline R. Johnson R, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, RMP.

Hawaii CRB 2010 Pinnacle Award Winner, Dale Bordner

Congratulations to Dale Bordner, R, CRB, CRS, GRI, of Island Realtors who was named the Hawaii CRB Chapter’s Pinnacle Award Recipient for 2010. The CRB Pinnacle award given by the Hawaii CRB Chapter represents the highest distinction CRB’s can attain for their commitment to the industry and the Designation.

This award recognizes an individual who has contributed significantly to the advancement and recognition of the CRB designation, as well as to the advancement of the welfare of the brokerage management profession. Recipients are noted to have also openly shared their knowledge and valuable experience with their peers.

The Hawaii CRB Chapter works hard every year to service their members and could not do it without the many volunteers that believe in this organization. The CRB Pinnacle award given by the Hawaii CRB Chapter represents the highest distinction CRB’s can attain for their commitment to the industry and the Designation. Our "congratulations" go out to REALTOR Leil Koch, a longtime CRB Chapter member, who received the "REALTOR of the Year" award from the Hawaii Association of REALTORS last week (10/26/10).  

Leil is the Broker-owner of Equity One Maui Real Estate.  He has given much to his REALTOR community including Hawaii Assoc. of REALTORS President, REALTOR Assoc. of Maui President, CCIM Hawaii Chapter President and presently holds the First Vice President National CCIM position.  

Leil will be the CCIM National President in 2012.  The Hawaii CRB Chapter applauds one of its own!

According to your Chapter Bylaws, Article VII, Officers & Elections, 6.b., this communication (cc: via email) serves as your 30 day notice of the 2011 Slate of Nominees. 

Additional nominees may be submitted to CRB Administrative Office in writing, provided that each nomination is supported by at least ten Chapter voting members, and the nominee has consented in writing to accept the nomination. 

Voting will be done by ballot or you may cast your vote in person at the Annual Business Meeting scheduled for September 22, 2010, HBR Holomua Room, 1:30 p.m. (held in conjunction to the "Real Estate Tax Laws for 2010" Seminar)

Clarifications or questions can be directed to the Administrative office. Voting for the approval of this budget will be included on the election ballot or you may vote on it in person at the September 22nd Annual Business Meeting.
